About the project

In Unpacking Episode 3, we follow Ra as he struggles to keep himself distracted from the pain that lurks beneath the surface. This silent episode takes you on a journey through his day, as he desperately tries to outrun his emotions until the weight becomes too much to bear, and he reaches his breaking point.

Author's comment:
You don’t get to be the hero in everyone’s story. Episode 3 of Unpacking came to life through countless rewrites, vulnerable moments, and an intentional effort to capture what it means to confront your own reflection. The process was messy, healing, and deeply human. Having this episode recognized in a Paris film festival feels like a full-circle moment for a story that began with a single question: what am I carrying, and how can I finally let go?
